After a rough year, made of closures, lockdowns and postponements, Pitti Uomo was finally ready to take place, the event that every year gathers the best of men's fashion proposals within the magical frame of the Fortezza da Basso.

The street style on the streets of Florence in these days was usually characterized by very formal tailored suits, blazer jackets and trousers tailor-made by the best tailors, vaguely nostalgic hats and extravagant accessories, in a conception of fashion closely linked to the craftsmanship of the discipline, to the quality of fabrics and classic design. These instances haven't lacked even this year but interpreted in a more casual, more relaxed, even self-ironic way, an almost inevitable consequence after a year in which we have forgotten what it means to dress up.
