8 months ago the first images leaked from the set and now, finally, the teaser trailer for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood has arrived. The ninth film directed by Quentin Tarantino is anticipated by a series of black and white images, a scene of backstage interviews and then an explosion of color takes us to Los Angeles in 1969, we follow Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, respectively the actor television producer Rick Dalton and his historic stand-up Cliff Booth. Together, the two try to make their way in a Hollywood that they no longer recognize, while in the background the massacres of the sect of Charles Manson are carried out, in one of which was killed Sharon Tate (played by Margot Robbie), wife of the famous director Roman Polanski. Everything in an atmosphere poised between crime and mystery.
A star-studded cast attended the filming of Tarantino's new project, which began last July. In addition to DiCaprio, Pitt and Robbie, we know that there will be Al Pacino, in the role of the protagonist's agent; Dakota Fanning and Lena Dunham (making their feature film debut) both as members of the Manson Family; Emile Hirsch (famous for Into the Wild) who will be a friend of Sharon Tate; Damian Lewis of Homeland who will give the face to Steve McQueen. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, which will arrive in US cinemas on July 26th and in Italy on September 19th, will give the many fans of Luke Perry the opportunity to attend the last performance of the Beverly Hills actor 90210 and Riverdale, who died prematurely March 4, 2019.
For fans of cinema and TV this is a period full of anticipations. The Toy Story 4 trailer has just been released, due out in June 2019 which will follow Woody, Buzz and the rest of the band in a new adventure on the road, and of Stranger Things 3. On the notes of the Who and the Mötley Crüe we see Eleven and his friends become teenagers spend a quiet summer, until another monster to defeat arrives from Upsidedown.
