Who is Sophia Amoruso? Obviously the founder of Nasty Gal brand. A girl who went from auctioning vintage clothes on eBay to running at the age of 28 her multi-dollar fashion business.
But, from April 21, she will also be the star of the new Netflix series inspired by the New York Times bestseller #Girlboss written by the same Amoruso.
In the 13 episodes, lasting 30 minutes each, written by Kay Cannon and products, among others, by Charlize Theron. The protagonist's role is played by Britt Robertson, already seen in "Tomorrowland", featuring George Clooney. At her side in the cast also Ellie Reed, Alphonso McAuley, Johnny Simmons and Dean Norris.
A curiosity: while the history of Amoruso in the TV series version is directed towards success, in reality did not have a happy ending, and in November 2016, the Nasty Gal has declared bankruptcy.
