Jorja Smith announces her return to Paris in May 2027 For the tour of her third album

Three years after the release of Falling or Flying in 2023, Jorja Smith is reaching a new milestone. The British artist unveiled her third album, titled What Are The Odds, this Friday, August 21. Comprising 12 tracks, this project refines a sophisticated R&B sound while opening up to new influences, including house, grime, UK garage, and 2-step. The album also features two collaborations: one with English rapper Devlin and another with Nigerian singer Wizkid.

As she approaches her 30s, the singer-songwriter reaffirms her artistic independence by releasing this record through her own label, FAMM. It is a strategy that has sustained her career since her breakout alongside Drake in 2017 and her steady position at the top of the charts, boasting over 12 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Lyrically, the production retains genuine depth beneath its driving rhythms. In "For Life," the opening track, she understatedly addresses the unconditional support given to a loved one struggling with addiction. Meanwhile, "Pretend" explores themes of betrayal while questioning the complex bond she has shared with her audience since her debut.
