G-SHOCK dedicates a watch to Evangelion The GA-110EVA30-7A for the 30th anniversary of the cult classic
To celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of Neon Genesis Evangelion, the watch brand G-SHOCK presents a tribute that combines art, pop culture, and mechanical engineering: the new GA-110EVA30-7A, designed by the legendary mecha designer and creative mind behind the visual universe of Hideaki Anno’s anime, Ikuto Yamashita. This special collaboration renews the bond between the watch — a symbol of toughness and technology — and one of the most influential series in contemporary Japanese culture, transforming a technical accessory into a true collector’s item.
Based on the GA-110 model — already the protagonist of the first collaboration between G-SHOCK and Evangelion in 2010 — the GA-110EVA30-7A reinterprets the iconic aesthetic of EVA Unit-01 through a design full of references for fans: from the decorated strap featuring the horned head of the unit and the arm holding the Lance of Longinus, to the secondary dial inspired by the Third Angel, Sachiel. Every detail is reproduced with the precision typical of Yamashita, while the CAUTION pattern and the NEON GENESIS engraving on the strap complete an aesthetic that fuses anime mythology and industrial innovation. On the case back, the emblem dedicated to the 30th anniversary seals the tribute.
Accompanied by an exclusive packaging that enhances its artwork and collectible nature, the GA-110EVA30-7A becomes a symbol of the meeting between two worlds that have redefined technological imagination: the durability and precision of G-SHOCK and the narrative power of Evangelion. A watch that doesn’t just tell time, but celebrates thirty years of vision, inspiration, and pop culture.
