Who will be the new talent of Italian electronic music? That’s exactly what the eighth edition of the JägerMusic Lab, an initiative promoted by Jägermeister, aims to discover. For some time now, the project has established itself as a launchpad for emerging artists, offering them not only visibility but also a structured training path to refine their skills and unleash their creative potential. The selection for the 2025 edition saw a significant participation of aspiring musicians and DJs. After the initial application phase, twenty artists were identified and invited to a live audition held in Milan last Tuesday. During this intense day, a jury composed of established producers, specialized journalists, and prominent industry figures, alongside the founders of MAT Academy, Alex Tripi and Nello Greco, known as The ReLOUD, evaluated the performances and artistic proposals. In the end, eleven talents were chosen to advance in the program, embodying this year’s central theme, "Be Reel", which encourages artists to reveal their authentic connection with electronic music, communicating with a fresh yet credible language rooted in their personal authenticity.

The Milan event marked the first moment of direct interaction between the selected artists and the experts, a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, receive targeted feedback, and prepare for the next stages. Here, the judges assessed the candidates’ ability to convey emotional depth and innovation, while staying true to the genuine essence that ties them to their sound. Among the finalists, Andrea Antognoloni, performing as Sourires, stands out with fifteen years of experience as a DJ and producer. His journey includes a remix for the iconic Chez Damier, released on vinyl, and a single with Tira Yem Records, focusing on house and disco sounds that energize his purely DJ-style live sets. Alongside him, Michele Bruschi, known as Kadesh, has been producing music for sixteen years, five of which professionally, even founding a label that secured deals with major players like Sony, Universal, and Warner. His creations blend pop and indie with electronic elements like EDM, incorporating global influences from Arabic, Indian, and South American traditions.

Beatrice Dalla Vecchia stands out for her approach to deep tech and tech house, enriched by numerous live performances, including a selection for a workshop at the Venice Biennale and a contest win that opened the doors to Superaurora. Francesco Grasso, under the name Francisfat, has dedicated the last five or six years to production, intensifying professionally in the last two or three, creating entirely self-produced tracks with piano, vocals, and drum machines, immersed in the vast universe of dubstep. Xhoi Kadena, alias V Breeze, honed his skills as a self-taught artist, winning competitions that led him to European stages, with a background in traditional DJing using turntables and vinyl, favoring free experimentation that blends various genres without fixed boundaries.

Under the guidance of MAT Academy and other prominent music industry professionals, the finalists will engage in advanced educational sessions and practical workshops designed to elevate their technical and creative skills in electronic music production. The culmination will take place on Saturday, October 18, with a final event at Cocoricò in Riccione, where the jury will proclaim the Music Meister 2025. The winner will have the honor of performing before the legendary venue’s audience, showcasing their unique style and marking a significant step in their career.
