5 things to do in Paris this weekend From 8 to 10 December

Escape the cold with our selection of indoor activities this weekend and choose options that will allow you to avoid the grayness and rain. From a multidisciplinary pop-up in the heart of Le Marais to a Russian restaurant offering authentic and affordable homemade dishes, discover what the city has to offer you this weekend.

Where to Eat - La Cantine des Tsars

Located steps away from the Louvre, this Russian restaurant has everything you need to warm up after a stroll in the cold. Offering authentic dishes, La Cantine des Tsars immerses visitors in the heart of Russian cuisine, in a baroque yet friendly setting. Conceived by the Ephemera group, the restaurant offers affordable homemade dumplings, perfect for enjoying during a break from shopping. On the menu? Small plates to start with: eggplant caviar, Olivier salad, salmon blinis, or their authentic pirozhkis for only €2.20 each. We then suggest trying a bowl of traditional borscht with sour cream or a serving of their authentic dumplings, Pelménis, filled with lamb or mushrooms. Complete it all with a glass of vodka, as is customary in Russia.

To Explore - LOADING. Urban Art in the Digital Age

The new exhibition is a paradise for street art enthusiasts. Starting December 6th, Parisians can explore an immersive exhibition dedicated to contemporary street art from around the world. Visitors will have the opportunity to rediscover street art in all its forms, from its beginnings in the New York subway to its cultural integration in the busiest urban centers worldwide. Beyond immersive video installations, the exhibition will also explore how these works have been widely digitized and shared on the internet and social networks, not to mention the recent emergence of NFTs. By transposing city streets onto the big screen, the exhibition's video installations allow viewers to experience this art form through a digital prism, without forgetting its historical origins on the facades of buildings worldwide.
