Since 2017, Pornhub has been monitoring audience figures during the evenings of Sanremo, but over the years there has never been such a loss of traffic. Last year, for example, the drop in hits during the first night of the festival was only 3.8%. According to the results provided by the company, last Tuesday's drop started around 7 p.m. and intensified as the start of the Festival approached. The most serious peak of -17% was found around 11 p.m., just as Pooh performed on the Ariston stage, before returning to its usual levels by 1 a.m., and soaring by 7% at 2 a.m., when the Festival was over. The regions that recorded the most intense decrease in traffic standing out on the charts include, apart from Liguria (-13%), Friuli-Venezia Giulia (-15%), Campania (-11%) and Trentino (-10%).
