The Men's Fashion Week FW17 for five fashion personality Ramona Tabita, Manuel Marelli, Alessandro Altomare, Domenico Romeo e Julien Boudet

Men's Fashion Week FW17, got over last week, and may have left a sign of change and evolution in the fashion system. For this reason, we decided to ask to five fashion personalities their opinion about it.

RAMONA TABITA - STYLIST

#1 Which city won the title of best fashion week? and of the most amazing/beautiful show?
Even if this year Milan fashion week has been one of the best of the last few years , I still think that Paris deserves the title. As usual, my favourite show is Y/project: a runway is made up of several things and Glenn Martens always succeeds in creating thr perfect mix of casting and cool styling. Nevertheless I have to admit that, this time, Dior too has quite amazed me.

#2 Among the many collaborations, which one has been the most innovative?
Junya Watanabe for The North Face, favourite piece the tartan blouse with giant yellow The North Face's logo.

#3 Talking about collaborations, we have to talk about Supreme for Louis Vuitton; what do you think about this phenomenon? Do you believe it will have a follow-up?
Many wonder if we will see old ladies with Supreme's box logo. I think that, unfortunately, those who will buy it will be the same who baught the YEEZY Season.

#4 What is, in your opinion, the must-have of the collection?
The turtle neck.

#5 Which, instead, the trend that dominated the catwalks?
Stratification:layers on layers like a millefoglie pastry.

ALESSANDRO ALTOMARE -  OWNER OF MAISON STUDIO

#1 Which city won the title of best fashion week? and of the most amazing/beautiful show?
Man's Fashion Week tour has just finished and considering quality, energy and prices I would personally award London. In the city, everything is organised for the comfort of buyers and press, there's a wonderful energy. Moreover the collections are more and more suitable for the real market, with competitive prices, thanks to Brexit too. For this reason I would crown as my favourite craig green (there are leaks about an upcoming collaboration with moncler); ifon the other hand, if I have to consider the Western perspective, I would recommend DIOR HOMME with its silent but ,I believe, more contemporary revolution. A perfect mix between the lost concept of luxury and the new one, modern and "daily".

#2 Among the many collaborations, which one has been the most innovative?
This is surely the year where "collabo is the new black". The most innovative, not only for the name, but also for piece's conception, is Junya Watanabe for The North Face 9 models, ready to be discovered.

#3 Talking about collaborations, we have to talk about Supreme for Louis Vuitton; what do you think about this phenomenon? Do you believe it will have a follow-up?
Concerning the collaboration between Supreme and Louis Vuitton, i think it is the new step forward. An age in which underground world (at this point not so underground ) is called to support the fate of the old luxury giants. My opinion about the collaboration is more relared to the economic and entrepreneurial aspects, I prefer not to speak about the beauty of the product. It is a strategy that revolutionize both lv ans s. As a matter of fact, after the show it has been the talk for 3 days.

#4 What is, in your opinion, the must-have of the collection?
The must have is fo sure the coming back of feathers D. With pieces of Baleciaga, Vetemens, Marc Jacobs, Facetasm.

#5 Which, instead, the trend that dominated the catwalks?
Also the customization, a trend coming from the streets.

MANUEL MARELLI - BUYER

#1 Which city won the title of best fashion week? and of the most amazing/beautiful show?
Paris. The most beautiful shows: Vetements, Dries Van Noten ,Berluti e Louis Vuitton.

#2 Among the many collaborations, which one has been the most innovative?
Not so innovative, but surely it important from a media point of view.

#3 Talking about collaborations, we have to talk about Supreme for Louis Vuitton; what do you think about this phenomenon? Do you believe it will have a follow-up?
Fashion, as usual, rides on brands coming from different directions. This time street culture is the most important and Louis Vuitton takes advantage of it.

#4 What is, in your opinion, the must-have of the collection?
The travel bag of Supreme x Louis Vuitton.

#5 Which, instead, the trend that dominated the catwalks?
Oversize, downjackt, maxi scarf, salary man tailoring.

DOMENICO ROMEO - DESIGNER

#1 Which city won the title of best fashion week? and of the most amazing/beautiful show?
Paris is for sure the city that in the last few years has been proposing the best fashion week. The most beautiful is Rick Owens, great management and really spectacular in what he presents, in addition to a perfect know - how of clothes manufacture as works of art. But I have two more leaders outside Paris: Prada for the beauty of the collection and a cold wall as a new contemporary promise, more for the overall view than for pieces itself.

#2 Among the many collaborations, which one has been the most innovative?
Junya Watanabe for The North Face collaboration with tnf has particularly surprised me. For my part I am not a big fan of imposing graphics on garments, but I found unusual her logo's positioning.

#3 Talking about collaborations, we have to talk about Supreme for Louis Vuitton; what do you think about this phenomenon? Do you believe it will have a follow-up?
I believe that it is a collaboration absolutely daughter of the times. Street wear is becoming luxury as never has done before and kj is totally aware of it making this deal.  Personally I would only buy the nigh slipper. I think natural evolution will be having more and more hybrid collection, as street wear that will aspire to affirm in haute couture, raising angain prices.

#4 What is, in your opinion, the must-have of the collection?
I imagine people will drive crazy for Louis Vuitton and Supreme bandanas. For my part the real must-have (only for the brave and rich ones) is the trunk of the same collection.

#5 Which, instead, the trend that dominated the catwalks?
I haven't seen particular trends in comparison to the last collections. I've noticed a spread attention to the small leather goods, in particular the great return of the small cross-body bag.

JULIEN BOUDET - FOTOGRAFO

#1 Which city won the title of best fashion week? and of the most amazing/beautiful show?
Paris is always the most interesting one to me, and the most beautiful show was Thom Browne.

#2 Among the many collaborations, which one has been the most innovative?
Salomon x 11 by BBS.

#3 Talking about collaborations, we have to talk about Supreme for Louis Vuitton; what do you think about this phenomenon? Do you believe it will have a follow-up?
I don’t know, I’m not a fan of Supreme to begin with. I guess owning a piece just as a collector item could be cool, but not sure which - I haven’t really seen the whole thing.

#4 Which, instead, the trend that dominated the catwalks?
Not sure honestly, I haven’t been able to process all the information I’ve got from this past month yet…
