The collection created by Kate and Laura Mulleavy – Rodarte’s founders – in collaboration with & Other Stories – Swedish brand of the H&M Group – lands in store on Thursday, March 17.
The line, which also includes shoes and jewelry, is inspired by the Californian lifestyle – what the two sisters know best: "We wanted to create a collection that would represent our Californian roots. The clothes have to be worn easily from day to night and convey their personal style and individuality. For us it was important to propose a complete wardrobe: a jacket, dress, skirt, blouse, sweater, shoes and a range of fully versatile jewelry" they explain.
The look book , shot by young London photographer Harley Weir, perfectly captures the essence of the collection, imbued with a modern and sophisticated glamour.
