After London, fashion people have landed in Florence, as every season the beautiful scenery of Pitti Immagine Uomo, the event dedicated to men’s fashion which reaches this year its 89th edition.

Besides the stands of Fortezza da Basso and the evening cocktails in the streets of the historic centre, the Tuscan city has a lot more to offer to its visitors.

#1 Caffè Gilli. This historic bar in the city centre was born at the beginning of the 18th century as a patisserie for noble people and still preserves its aristocratic charm. #4 Giardini di Boboli. If you happen to visit Pitti on a sunny day, take some time to have a look at these historic gardens. You’ll find statues and fountains dating back to the 16th century, besides a luxuriant vegetation. No excuses: the gardens are just behind Palazzo Pitti. Piazza Pitti, 1.
