Instagram teams up with #NYFW

We know that Instagram and the fashion system get on very well since the birth of the social network, in 2010.
Fashion shows are among the most shared contents on the app and some of the most followed profiles are the ones of models, fashion houses, fashion designers and fashion bloggers. On the eve of New York fashion week, Instagram released a news which aims to strengthen this relationship even more: starting from Friday September 11th there will be a special section on the social network called “The Best of Fashion Week Updated Daily By @Instagram”.
Basically, by clicking on the Explore page of the social (updated last June with the catergories People, Tag, Places) IG users will be able to enter the most exclusive contents directly from #NYFW, constantly chosen by Instagram internal team to offer you only the best posts on circulation.
Everything about fashion week will be included in the section: from runways to backstage, from street style to the most ironclad after parties. For the moment the function is limited to the city of New York, but we are sure that if it will turn out to be winning as IG chiefs predict, it will also expand to London, Milan and Paris.
In the meantime, let’s enjoy its debut with #NYFW, which with its schedule full of events and presentations (like the first Givenchy show opened to the public) promises a feed in constant evolution.
