Anthony Calydon named revelation at the city of Paris Grand Prizes Following Ceùcle, Vaillant, and Weinsanto
Detecting and propelling the emerging talents of design, fashion, and fine crafts is the fundamental mission of the City of Paris Grand Prizes for Creation (Grands Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris). During the 2026 edition, designer Anthony Calydon was awarded the prestigious Fashion Revelation Prize.
Every year since 1993, the Grand Prizes for Creation have highlighted the visionaries shaping new perspectives, devising new uses, and providing concrete solutions to environmental challenges. This edition's award ceremony took place on Wednesday, September 23, at the Paris City Hall (Hôtel de Ville). For the occasion, three major figures of the creative industry chaired the juries: Ionna Vautrin for design, Lisa Gachet for fashion, and Jeremy Maxwell Wintrebert for fine crafts.
In total, the ceremony recognized eight winners across four distinct categories: three Revelation Prizes, three Engagement Prizes, one Fashion Accessories Prize, and one Jewelry Accessories Prize. Each winner receives a total grant of €18,000. This sum consists of an €8,000 contribution from the City of Paris, augmented through the Fund for the Ateliers de Paris (Fonds pour les Ateliers de Paris) and the support of private partners such as the French Federation of Women's Ready-to-Wear (Fédération Française du Prêt à Porter Féminin), ADC, Francéclat, the Galeries Lafayette Group, ESMOD, Roger Pradier, Brossier Saderne, Victoire, and Première Vision.
