Summer doesn't truly end in September — it lives on through the memories we carry with us throughout the year. This is the idea behind the new espadrille collection presented by LESPIAGGE MILANO, arriving in boutiques from April 2027. The collection comprises 35 styles across two silhouettes — the classic espadrille and the mule — built around seven print families conceived not as independent elements but as fragments of a single visual sequence.

Each print group is then interpreted in various color combinations, together composing the full collection. The starting point is a series of images and impressions tied to the warm season, reworked through shapes, colors, and painterly marks. LESPIAGGE MILANO thus endeavors to capture the memory of summer, keeping the project in constant dialogue with art.

The construction of the shoes draws on the traditional elements of the espadrille, and they are produced entirely by hand in Spain by a specialist manufacturer. The upper is made from printed linen and cotton with an internal lining in leather, while the jute rope sole is finished with a vulcanized rubber outsole.

LESPIAGGE MILANO thus brings together artisanal craftsmanship and a poetic, contemporary visual identity, positioned between contemporary luxury and the resort world — one it intends to develop collection after collection: a summer that continues to exist beyond the time and place in which it was lived.
