Freedom and desire intertwine in the new BLEU DE CHANEL L’EXCLUSIF campaign Starring Jacob Elordi, the brand’s ambassador, and directed by Alfonso Cuarón

The choice of Elordi for this new narrative chapter was natural and deliberate. From his international success in Euphoria, Saltburn and Priscilla by Sofia Coppola, in which he plays Elvis Presley, to the adaptation of Wuthering Heights directed by Emerald Fennell and starring Margot Robbie, his artistic journey reinforces an image of freshness and authenticity that is reflected in the campaign.
As Thomas du Pré de Saint Maur, Head of Global Creative Resources Fragrance & Beauty at the Maison explains, «Jacob Elordi embodies the spirit of the fragrance with effortless ease. He commands attention simply by being himself, and that magnetism was precisely what I was looking for.» On set, he adds, the actor helped create an atmosphere of curiosity and generosity, naturally building rapport with co-star Libby Taverner: «He was fully invested throughout the shoot, showed genuine interest in everything around him and brought sincerity to the campaign.»
CHANEL ambassadors have always reflected the Maison’s desire to build long-term collaborations with creatives aligned with its values. In this case as well, the relationship with Elordi developed in a genuine and progressive way, maintaining the consistency that characterizes the brand’s artistic choices. «What matters above all is the quality of the relationship built over time,» concludes du Pré de Saint Maur. «I believe deeply in authenticity. With Jacob Elordi, the collaboration began with the N°5 campaign and has naturally continued with BLEU DE CHANEL, allowing a relationship to grow richer with each project.» After this blue-lit action story, we can only wait to discover what new surprise CHANEL’s cinematic universe still has in store.
