After introducing foldable glasses in the collection created together with Bratz, Gentle Monster is now returning to the foldable format by building an entirely new visual universe around it. The new 2026 Veggie Collection takes inspiration from the world of vegetables, transforming tomatoes, stems, and organic shapes into a series of compact eyewear designs with a deliberately surreal, almost dadaist aesthetic.

The collection features ten foldable designs created to combine practicality with aesthetic experimentation. The silhouettes echo the curves of vegetables, while some temple details directly reference stems and botanical textures. Everything, however, is filtered through Gentle Monster’s visual language, making each reference feel more synthetic, glossy, and almost artificial. The frames alternate between soft lines and more structured constructions, playing with unusual proportions and saturated colors that look more like something out of a digital rendering than an actual vegetable garden.

The campaign also continues to move within this suspended dimension between nature and synthetic imagery. Starring Karina of the girl group aespa alongside multidisciplinary artist Yosh, the visuals are set inside a desolate field where the tomato becomes a surreal element. The images carry that strange and artificial atmosphere that has now become central to much of the brand’s creative universe, somewhere between fashion films, CGI, and editorial photography.

To accompany the launch of the collection, Gentle Monster will also open a series of pop-ups across six cities worldwide, from Seoul to Los Angeles, as well as Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing, and Bangkok. The spaces will recreate the campaign’s agricultural aesthetic through immersive installations built around giant tomatoes and plush toys called Veggiemon, which could easily become the season’s next it-item.
