The new edition of Graduate Fashion Italy 2025 A week open to young fashion talents

In recent years, fashion has learned to step out of its palaces, to enter the streets, and open itself up to dialogue. The idea that creativity is a language reserved for a few is giving way to a more inclusive vision, where education, research, and cross-disciplinary exchange become the foundation for building the future. This is reflected in projects like Fuorimoda, which have brought the conversation between the public and the fashion system to the center of Milan’s creative scene. In the same spirit, from October 28 to 30, 2025, Fashion Graduate Italia returns to Milan — the first fashion week entirely dedicated to the emerging talents of Italian fashion.

Now in its eleventh edition, the event’s guiding theme is Bridging Tribes, Building Dreams — an invitation to celebrate the exchange between identities, cultures, and visions, while reflecting on fashion’s ability to create connections and new possibilities. At a time when the industry still tends to privilege exclusivity, Fashion Graduate Italia represents an open ecosystem where education becomes the starting point for real change.

18 Italian fashion schools and institutes are taking part this year — from established names like Istituto Marangoni Milano and NABA to newer institutions such as Accademia del Lusso and Ferrari Fashion School. Every year, Fashion Graduate Italia celebrates the heritage of skills and culture that define Italy’s fashion education, with the goal of renewing the system and making it ever more competitive in the face of global market challenges.

This year’s edition focuses on highlighting the connection between education and industry, showing how fashion schools are an essential part of the Made in Italy value chain. It’s a symbiotic relationship that makes the Italian system unique worldwide — one where the dialogue between schools, companies, and institutions drives innovation. From the portfolio review to a hub dedicated to outstanding graduates, the program is designed to amplify opportunities for young creatives to connect with professionals and companies in the field.

Fashion Graduate Italia also dedicates space to exploring the narratives and professions that define the fashion world, opening up a discussion about how creative work is evolving. The panel moderated by Gian Maria Spinella of WEAREGOLD, titled “Fashion Careers 2030: How Are Fashion Professions Changing?”, offers a strategic look at the new roles, skills, and dynamics shaping the contemporary fashion system.

Fashion Graduate Italia is the future of fashion

Building bridges between different worlds is the most ambitious challenge of contemporary education,” says Matteo Secoli, President of Piattaforma Sistema Formativo Moda ETS. The goal of this year’s edition is precisely to connect cultures, generations, and skills, turning them into concrete projects capable of bringing innovation and value to the Made in Italy fashion industry. Secoli continues: “Fashion Graduate Italia 2025 is an open ecosystem where the collaboration between schools, institutions, and companies shapes the future of fashion and creates opportunities for a new generation of talents.

In an increasingly complex and fragmented global landscape, creativity remains a universal language — one capable of bringing people together and generating shared perspectives. For this reason, during Fashion Graduate Italia, nss edicola will also be present with a dedicated stand featuring the official Fuorimoda merch, bringing into the event space the same public energy and inclusive spirit that defined the project during Milan Fashion Week. A symbolic yet tangible presence that reinforces the idea that opening fashion means creating meeting spaces and making creativity truly accessible.

In this sense, Fashion Graduate Italia 2025 is not just a showcase of emerging talent but a true manifesto for a more open, collaborative, and human fashion system — one where differences become a source of growth and dreams turn into shared projects. As this year’s theme reminds us, only by bridging tribes can we continue to build dreams.
