The first images of the Carhartt WIP x Marni collaboration

The first images of the collaboration between Carhartt WIP and Marni have emerged in recent days, revealing that the coming months of 2023 may see the rise of the workwear suit. Carhartt WIP has already experimented in recent times with "elevated" versions of its workwear suits, but together with Francesco Risso, the two brands may have produced their best collaboration yet.

A floral print fills the looks in the collection, decorating the aforementioned workwear suits, shirts, accessories, and even a co-branded slip-on. The rest of the collaboration includes pieces such as shirts and skirts constructed from contrasting fabrics like corduroy and canvas, but the catalog also includes leather jackets and a sweater. While keeping close to the Carhartt WIP aesthetic, the collaboration reconfirms the language Marni is developing for its more democratic collaborations: contrasting paneling, naive floral prints, as well as patchwork patterns and embroidery.

The collection will be available starting Jan. 14, 2023, on Marni.com, in Marni boutiques and selected stores, as well as in Carhartt WIP flagships in New York, Paris Le Marais, Florence, London Soho, Antwerp, Berlin Mitte, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Sydney.
