The Refresh Sessions - Chapter 02

After the success of the first edition, “The Refresh Sessions - Chapter 02”, the Tommy Jeans project that celebrates upcycling - is finally back. The second chapter brings with it different news, starting from the location in which it will take place: the protagonists will no longer be the digital spaces, but the Milanese store of the brand, in Piazza Guglielmo Oberdan, 2A. The second big news concerns the workshop participants: if the first experience had given the fashion students of IED Milan, IED Turin, IUAD Naples-Milan, and Polimoda Firenze the opportunity to explore the world of denim by transforming old garments into new creations, this time it will be consumers who will be able to get their hands on denim.

Anyone can sign up for the masterclasses, through the project's Digital Hub, having the opportunity to interact with creators and experts who will guide participants in the discovery of denim in all its forms and types, deconstructed, customized, reinterpreted, and recycled, with the goal not to waste, but to create. Each masterclass will offer the opportunity to develop a different item, which will give denim a second life, making it functional in everyday life.

The first workshops will start on Tuesday 19th October: for three consecutive days the designer and creative, Leonardo Colacicco, will lead his class, interpreting denim in his own way.
