Updates on the next A-COLD-WALL* x Nike Air Force 1 Following in the steps of one of the most hyped AF1's ever

During London fashion week we were rather impressed by the runway show of A-COLD-WALL* SS19 offerings and with it, the first view of a new “deconstructed” sneaker, which is the brands next fruit to be born out of the ongoing collaboration with Nike. Looking back a bit we need to remember how it all started when ACW made a version of one of the most iconic sneakers of all time, the Nike Air Force 1. The hi-top iteration with its minimal and at the same time, obvious but unusual lacing, quickly became one of our favorite re-designs of the AF1 ever, with its very clean and slightly futuristic finish.

It was however also a version filled with frustration as the shoe was only ever released in 250 official pairs and then only at a limited time pop-up store in London, to make coping even harder, and thus one of the hardest and most highly grailed pairs of AF1 ever.

For its 2018 season, ACW returned with a new version of the AF1, this time taking a different approach, the shoe returned to its low bottom cut and got a worn, post-paint dyed color effect added all over. Though this version isn’t as good as the first one, an October release has now been set in case you’d like to try your luck.

The exact day of release hasn’t been set yet, but stay locked to nss for any updates.
