Places+Faces launches new merch and first-ever magazine
Available from tomorrow May 12th
May 11th, 2017
The Places+Faces project needs no introduction now.
The two founders Imran Ciersay and Solomon Boyede have come a long way since they launched their Tumblr blog on 2011, in which they explored the coolest and most uninteresting hip hop events of that moment through reportage-like grainy photographs. The DIY attitude and the strong connection with the underground scene have been the keys to the success who have led Places+Faces until now, the day before the launching of the new merchandising line and the first-ever magazine.
The collection – available on May 12th – includes a range of hoodies, two t-shirts, a long-sleeved shirt and a sweater, and socks, everything marked with the “P+F” logo and printed with some images of the project. The zine, will be a tribute to the Places+Faces photographic style, with the best of their shootings – including well-known artists like Lil Yachty, A$AP Rocky and Rejjie Snow.
