Prada Resort18 is pure modernism A ultrafemminile collection in the most contemporary sense of the term

"I never wanted to write ‘cruise'… for me a show is a show... but they said it is better to understand so I said okay. (...) I think at it more like an Autum Resort”.

The autumn resort of Miuccia Prada is reconfirmed as a successful attempt to set up a modernist collection.

Minimalistic lines encounter a baroque mix of fabrics and layers, with long tulle and taffeta wedding dresses enriched by James Jean's illustrations, where rabbits and lilies find their way as a new Liberty print signed Prada. The colors are a delicate ensemble of earth shades, from camel to rust, alternating with bon-bon shades like confetti pink and lilac.

Prada's Resort18 presents itself as a ultrafemminile collection in the most contemporary sense of the term where an androgynous look defined by tailor pants and braces does not distort the bon ton vibrations of the whole collection. Marabou and sheer, a must of the last Prada passerels, also come back in this collection, contributing to the creation of an environment at the limit of oneiric in the famous Prada Osservatorio in Milan.
