adidas Originals launched four new NMD sneakers

adidas Originals has presented the new NMD sneakers in the best way, namely with a big event during the Milano Design Week.

The sportswear brand has decided to entrust the releasing of the news models to STERVEN JǾNGER and NO TEXT, two Italian video-experimentation collectives who, playing with different languages and audiovisual codes, produced for the occasion the video clip MILANO URBAN EXPLORERS – Manuale di Esplorazione Notturna. The project has been set up and shown on April 5 at Santeria Social Club and will remain visible over the entire Milano Design Week. As regards the sneakers, it's a reissue of new four models, NMD CS2, NMD R1, NMD R2 e NMD XR1.

#1 From the original NMD City Sock 1, the NMD CS2 has the iconic wraparound fitting in one-piece Primeknit, with polka-dot prints for her and stripes for him, and the sole is more defined with a deconstructed insert in EVA on the central side and engraved details on the lateral part. The model is in Collegiate Navy tone and refined with a collar in contrast.

#2 An exclusive chromatic treatment for the NMD R1, who has an iridescent detail on the sole. The silhouette remains faithful to the original model, with stretch mesh upper in Midnight Grey color. Shoelaces and the three stripes are reflective to give a touch of brightness to the shoes, given also by the fluorescent rubber sole.

#3 Fitting Primeknit upper for the symbol of the second generation of NMD, the NMD R2, characterized by the settled three stripes and the leather shaped reinforce on the heel. The Primeknit fabric is enriched with a texture of polka-dots for her and red details for him, while the BOOST sole is in classic white and Clear Granite colorways.

#4 NMD XR1 shows a Primeknit upper with the exclusive textured treatment and the iconic TPU cage, also for the lacing system. The elegant total-black is enriched by the elaborated Stripe Noise pattern braided with the Primeknit fabric who gives a finely textured effect to the shoe.
