Innocence and perturbation

Marianna Sanvito photographed the face of suburban youth Innocence and perturbation

Edicola is online with its new edition the face, inspired by the psychological connotations of the human face and analyzed through the lenses of eight photographers. To open the analysis is Marianna Sanvito with the main story felix.

When I close my eyes and think of the word "face" I have two things that come to my mind: "innocence" and "perturbation". My personal approach to a photographic project always starts with a portrait whatever the final theme is, and being able to work on such a congenial aspect has allowed me to create a kind of intimacy with the theme of the new edition.

The 'Brit-adolescence' imaginary was a great starting point for felix' development - blended with inspirations from the Ken Loach universe on the British working class and films such as Billy Elliott.
