What does it really mean to be young?

God Save The Youth by Daveion Thompson explores the essence of youth from a teenagers' point of view, investigating what are their true visions on issues such as identity, sexuality, interpersonal relationships and youth culture as a whole.

"Our naïve youth is what allows us to make our choices freely without any regret. These choices we make are those that define who we are. At the end I wanted to create a project that challenged the constructions and the pressure imposed on young people to comply with the standard", explains Daveion.

God Save The Youth is a dual medium project featuring a short film and a capsule of clothing.
