Adidas releases "Ashington": a new sneaker in honor of Sir Bobby Charlton

The most important thing is to start from the roots. On the second year of the partnership between adidas and Manchester United, the German brand launches Ashington, a new limited edition sneaker that pays homage to a Red Devils’ legend: Sir Bobby Charlton.

adidas’ announcement arrived on October 11, right on Charlton’s 79th birthday. The name Ashington comes from Charlton’s hometown, and it’s reported above the trainers’ stripes and on the aglets, while the famous Devil club’s symbol stands on the heel.

 

The sneakers will be available October 27.
