The AC Milan returns to tradition with the new Home jersey created by PUMA for the 2024/25 season, a design that exalts the tradition of the red and black jersey as a DNA to be passed down from father to son. Through a reworking of the human genome design, the red and black stripes become a second skin, a distinctive mark that spans generations in the name of Milanismo. Along with the vertical red and black stripes, the distinctive feature is the white edges of the round collar and sleeves, providing an even more traditional and vintage touch to PUMA's chosen design, a color that also appears in the side inserts.
But while PUMA and Milan have chosen classicism for the design of the 2024/25 Home kit, the materials used are always cutting-edge in terms of performance and sustainability. In particular, the use of RE:FIBRE fabric, made with at least 95% recycled textile waste and other polyester materials, allows the German brand to create new jerseys while limiting the production impact. The collection includes the authentic AC Milan jersey, developed with PUMA's innovative ULTRAWEAVE technology: The ultra-lightweight engineered fabric is the lightest high-performance jersey ever produced by PUMA.
The classic style of the new jersey, with its red and white stripes and details, is a nod to the club's 125-year history, which is also celebrated by a special patch on the back of the jersey that will feature on all PUMA jerseys this season. PUMA's design ethos embodies a fusion of tradition and modernity in this jersey, creating a jersey that is not only iconic but also a testament to AC Milan's enduring legacy. A special feature of this new jersey is the inscription “Social Club Institution” on the inside collar, which symbolises the club's ongoing commitment to social causes and underlines AC Milan's role as a social and cultural institution committed to positive social change in line with its values.
