PUMA and Lega Serie A have unveiled the ball that will be used at the EA SPORTS FC Supercup, which will be played in Riyadh from 18 January 2024 to 22 January. It is the first time in 35 years that the competition has had its own ball, which will also celebrate the new four-team format. For this special occasion, PUMA and the Lega Serie A have designed a new version of the Orbita Serie A 2023/2024 ball, featuring the colour gold.

The Orbita 2023/2024 ball is inspired by Italy's rich history in motorsport and therefore has a new colour scheme designed to represent the importance and prestige of this competition and its venue. The PUMA Orbita ball is characterised by a unique configuration of 12 large star-shaped panels that have a reduced number of seams, allowing for a better connection with the ball. This special edition will be available in two versions: FIFA Quality PRO and Hybrid.

The former uses a state-of-the-art technology that retains its shape and allows less water absorption through a POE foam to increase touch sensitivity and provide a firmer feel and better rebound consistency. In addition, the 1.2mm thick 3D textured PU surface improves aerodynamics and increases abrasion and wear resistance, extending durability. The Orbita ball will make its debut in the semi-finals between Napoli and Fiorentina and Inter and Lazio and later in the final on 22 June.
