The collaboration between 1. FC Blaumeier x Werder Bremen

German teams are distinguished by high fan participation and involvement not only toward football matches, but also toward the charitable initiatives that clubs organize during the season. For SV Werder Bremen, the theme of inclusivity is always at the center of their outreach events, with a Bundesliga home match revolving around this issue. This year, however, is a little different, bigger and more special. Because in the club's 125th anniversary season, the Green-Whites have partnered with Atelier Blaumeier in Bremen-Walle, which since 1986 has offered people from diverse artistic backgrounds the opportunity to discover and develop their talents in the visual and performing arts. It is a place of self-determination, creativity and inclusion. 

"At the heart of this exciting collaboration is the vibrant connection between inclusion and participation with art and football, as Blaumeier and Werder Bremen come together to experience the essence of inclusion through creativity. This is why Werder becomes 1. FC Blaumeier for a day," says Claudia Hartung, Brand & Marketing Project Manager of SV Werder Bremen. The artworks full of passion and dedication express unity, passion and the ability to overcome boundaries. They are a source of inspiration and encouragement and show that art knows no barriers-a powerful message that Werder Bremen wants to be heard off the pitch.
