What went down at the San Siro event of the PUMA RE:FIBRE project Among the guest also AC Milan Legend Daniele Massaro

Before the match between AC Milan and Udinese, the Rossoneri and PUMA present the RE:FIBRE event outside San Siro stadium. This is PUMA's programme to transform textile waste and other materials used to produce new textiles. The garments are collected and transformed into new materials, in order to create a sustainable and circular supply economy. Rossoneri fans were able to personally contribute to being part of the project and met some of the guests present at the event site. In addition to the Milanello mascot, Daniele Massaro, a historic AC Milan legend, was also among the guests. He first signed autographs and took photos with the fans and then personally donated an item of clothing to the RE:FIBRE project's collection bins.

From the stage of the event, Daniele Massaro recalled the importance of the project, communicated by AC Milan and PUMA during the week also through a video in which the Rossoneri legend challenged Yunus Musah first to wear as many clothes as possible in sixty seconds, then to an unusual penalty shoot-out, won by the current Rossoneri midfielder. This challenge was recreated during the San Siro event, with two collecting bins - one for each player - from which fans had to choose, donating an outfit and casting their vote. Once past the turnstiles of the stadium, many took part in the activity, receiving a special tote bag dedicated to the RE:FIBRE project. Demonstrating the club's support for PUMA's project, Maikel Oettle - Milan's Chief Commercial Officer - also donated a garment, who then went inside the stadium to watch the match.

The PUMA RE:FIBRE programme does not end, it will still be possible to donate clothing, of any type and brand, inside special bins in PUMA stores and at Casa Milan, San Siro and Galleria S.Carlo in Milan. Join to create new garments made from 95 per cent recycled textile waste.
