At the San Siro it is almost unusual to see Champions League matches at 6.45pm, although AC Milan had already played the opening match of this edition at the same time, when the late September evening sun was still lighting up the Milan sky. Yesterday, Inter played the third game in Group D against RedBull Salzburg, and despite the time, late autumn brought darkness among the bars outside the stadium before the game and during kick-off, illuminated by the lights of the San Siro.

Together with AlphaTauri, nss sport watched from the stands as Alexis Sanchez, now the Chilean player with the most goals in the Champions League (overtaking Arturo Vidal), and Hakan Çalhanoğlu scored a penalty to put the Nerazzurri 2-1 ahead. The situation in the group is still open and so much will be decided in the match on 8 November, where the lights of the Wals-Siezenheim Stadium will be in Salzburg and the most beautiful music to be heard will not be that of Mozart, who was born in the Austrian city, but the Champions League anthem.
