Only golfers can buy shoes in a London shop

The rush and campouts outside shops for every Nike or adidas trainer drop has subsided in recent years compared to the Jordan-YEEZY era. However, there are still a large number of collectors who await the release of new trainers with extreme attention and one of the next events marked in red on the calendar is the release of the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low golf Olive. This is in fact a colf shoe, part of a collaboration already announced in recent months and which will be officially released on 13 October. For Travis Scott-related projects, given also the recent release of the new album, the hype and resell rush does not seem to have died down, so much so that the London store Trendy Golf wanted to make sure that only real golfers could have access to the trainer.

To do this, the store has devised a new sales method, which involves a raffle first, from which 72 participants are chosen for the second round. Only real golfers will have the chance to wear the new Air Jordan 1s, and to do so they will have to manage to tee off and throw a golf ball 200 yards (about 183 metres) for men and 150 yards (137 metres) for women. The first shot with the drive is one of the most important shots in golf as well as one of the most spectacular, in this case it could give access to a €170 retail shoe that promises to go for well over €900 on the resell market, for now already over €900 on StockX.
