Liverpool presented the third kit during a concert

During an event for fans yesterday, Liverpool unveiled its third kit for the upcoming Premier League season, which starts in less than 48 hours. At a concert organised by sponsor BOSS, Liverpool players took to the stage in the new kit while Allison Becker accompanied the live band with his guitar.

The third jersey produced by Nike also follows the same template as the previous ones, but chooses an unusual colour for the Reds: purple. A closer look reveals a similar wave pattern to the one Nike chose last year, but in purple, with black cuffs, shoulder inserts and side covers.

The 97 emblem with the Eternal Flames is emblazoned at the back of the neck in memory of the children, women and men who died in the Hillsborough disaster. The club crest and Nike Swoosh logos have a unique speckled finish produced by Nike Grind, which turns production waste and discarded shoes into new recycled materials.

The third Liverpool jersey for the 2023/24 season will be available from 17 August.
