Red Star FC has always distinguished itself as a team with a deep history, which began in 1879 in the north of Paris, and a strong social connotation, but at the same time with an eye to the future. For this reason, the jersey for the 2023/24 season was designed by Kappa in collaboration with UVL, a creative studio that uses artificial intelligence in its work. The artificial intelligence was fed with images from the club's archives, team photos, stadium photos, pictures of any old jersey and memorabilia.
Armed with all this information, the AI began its work, feeding the club's creative process. The jerseys took shape, green but also blue, a colour from the past that is sometimes forgotten and rediscovered instead. The protagonists, as always, are the vertical stripes that have characterised the jerseys of Paris' oldest team for over a century. In the home jersey, they are white and green, with black details and a round neck collar, while the away jersey has a polo collar and the stripes are in different shades of blue on a white background.
To celebrate the club's 125th anniversary, Red Star wanted to honour its history while looking to the future with the most innovative technology available today. And AI perfectly symbolises this great evolution, that of man and that of the club, which is ready to shape the next century with the help of its past.
