All Women's World Cup 2023 shirt sponsors KoPa, Saeta, Grand Sport and Castore sponsoring a national team for the first time

The friendly matches in preparation for the upcoming Women's World Cup have begun to show the jerseys of the tournament that will open on 20 July with the matches of the two hosts: New Zealand-Norway and Australia-Ireland. The jerseys are among the most interesting aspects of the tournament and it is curious to find out which brands will be on the pitch, some of them quite unexpected such as Castore, which will dress Ireland in one of the opening matches and which is sponsoring a national team for the first time.

The sponsors of the women's national teams are all the same as those who supply the kits to the men's teams. From the sponsorship chart it is certainly noticeable that at this World Cup, there is a disproportion of national teams sponsored by Nike (13) and adidas (10) for a total of 23 out of 32 teams. Among the different jersey sponsors, some big brands that have been in the football business for some time and were on the pitch in Qatar such as Kappa and New Balance are missing, just as the number of jerseys produced by PUMA is reduced to only two national teams (Switzerland and Morocco).

While it is more common to see these brands on a football pitch, as well as Hummel sponsoring Denmark, the Women's World Cup also features unknown brands. Just think of Zambia, which has chosen the local brand KoPa, or Haiti, which will dress Saeta, a Colombian brand that only sponsors the Caribbean national team and Violette FC, a team from Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti. The Thai brand Grand Sport, on the other hand, is sponsoring Vietnam, which is in the group of two big favorites of the tournament, the USA and the Netherlands. Finally, two names with a very long football tradition are missing from the list of brands, but in recent years it has become increasingly difficult to find them on the playing fields. They are Reebok, sponsor of Panama, and Le Coq Sportif, sponsor of South Africa, Italy's next opponent in Group G.
