Sevilla reproduced the kit worn by Diego Armando Maradona A tribute to one of the great footballers who passed through Sevilla for just one season

In the wake of the tragic death of the iconic player who made Napoli and Argentina great, we are of course talking about Diego Armando Maradona, many teams have produced commemorative shirts and merchandise. Still missing from this list is Sevilla, in which Maradona played for just one year after reluctantly leaving Naples and the Neapolitans with whom he had forged a unique bond in history, and the celebrations of these days are proof of this. And Sevilla's sponsor Castore, trying to exploit this feeling of nostalgia that has invaded football in recent years, has decided to turn back the clock for fans and enthusiasts of the Andalusian club by releasing a faithful reproduction of the jersey used in the 1992-93 season.

And even though at the time Sevilla's sponsor was an unknown and probably now defunct 'Frontrunnner' this did not stop Castore from creating an exact version of the one worn by the Argentinean champion. Needless to say, the 90s jerseys remain a constant inspiration for brands and teams, who in recent years have reopened their archives in search of new ideas and patterns. This is also demonstrated by the recent release of Liverpool who wanted to take back the 70s style for their classic and tireless all-red jersey, Sevilla will also do it now dusting off that white jersey with two red bands in the sleeves, in the sign of Diego Armando Maradona.
