After adidas, Nike has also unveiled the new women's national team jerseys for the 2023 Women's World Cup, which will take place in Australia and New Zealand from 20 July to 20 August. Among the 13 federations sponsored by the American brand are some of the most important teams in women's football, including host nations Australia and New Zealand, reigning Olympic champion Canada, reigning European champion England, two-time world champion USA and reigning Asian Games champion China. From Australia to the USA, all jerseys combine classic and modern elements and are designed to celebrate the diversity of the various communities in each country.

"Period innovation is built into the Pro shorts they know and love. "We are excited to offer this new innovation to all female athletes playing for Nike-sponsored leagues this summer," says Jordana Katcher, VP Women's Global Sport Apparel. "Professional footballers play two 45-minute halves with no breaks or time-outs. Many have told us that they can spend several minutes on the pitch with the fear of menstruation leaks. When we showed them this innovation, they told us how grateful they were to have this short that helps them have confidence when they can't leave the field". Athletes also have access to Nike's latest bra offering, which allows them to choose the style and level of support they prefer."

All of Nike's kits are designed to meet the needs of today's female footballers, the uniforms for the women's national teams come with a new fit and innovative material, which adapts perfectly to their movements. The brand worked closely with each federation to carefully design the new national team collection, which includes not only playing kits but also lifestyle apparel to celebrate the rich culture of each federation. Inspired by the identities of each country's diverse communities, the new national team collections incorporate cultural and historical elements to boldly represent each country on and off the pitch.

The new jerseys will be available in June, here.
