Toulouse's strange April Fool's joke could turn into reality A kit that met with unexpected success

As usual yesterday, several clubs took advantage of the first day of April to play a prank on their fans. Some invented a partnership with their usual rivals, some modified their club logo, and some created a new kit. And the latter is the case of Toulouse, a French team that plays in Ligue 1, which for fun presented a completely red kit, as a tribute to Stade Toulousainm and its colours. A kit that was supposed to be just a joke and instead met with an, perhaps, almost unexpected success. The response from the fans was not at all negative and indeed the club relaunched by asking the technical sponsor to start producing the jersey, should the fans reach a certain number of retweets.

An April Fool's joke that in all likelihood was intended to test the reaction of the fans, being a jersey from a design point of view on which there are several monuments of the city and which does not have any colour element ever used or any element that would suggest it is a joke. It now remains whether indeed the technical sponsor, Craft, will be able to produce the jersey before the end of the season, and whether it will obviously be produced with the usual main sponsor and not with the fish, as seen in what is currently only a concept. An unprecedented joke that could therefore turn into reality, we'll see what happens.
