The latest Stone Island and New Balance collaboration is for the football pitch With an exceptional testimonial, Raheem Sterling

After seeing it worn at the 'Santan Cup', a tournament organised by British rapper Dave, today New Balance and Stone Island officially unveiled their latest collaboration with an exceptional model, Raheem Sterling. In addition to the camouflage kit with the Italian brand's logos on it, New Balance also produced a Furon V7 pair with the same design that the English striker will most likely wear at the upcoming World Cup in Qatar. This is the first collaboration designed and made to be worn on a football pitch, although in addition to the kit and the new Furons, the two brands have also created a new colourway of the New Balance 574 with a ripstop and suede upper and a dark green colour scheme, for a deconstructed look inspired by the archives.

Stone Island has always been a brand close to the world of football, thanks to the popularity first achieved among the English stands, where ultras used to wear the garments made by the Italian company to defend themselves from the bitter cold of winter. And from Terrace Core onwards Stone Island became a cult among sportsmen thanks to its avant-garde materials and futuristic cuts. Prior to this collaboration with New Balance, however, it had never made material designed specifically for the football pitch. And so, after more than three decades on the shoulders of fans all over the world, the company founded by Carlo Rivetti will finally see the pitch from a new perspective.

The collection is available from November 21, here.
