The new adidas jerseys for the 2022 World Cup The German brand has unveiled the home and away jerseys for the national teams committed next November in Qatar

After a series of previews scattered over the past weeks, today adidas finally showed the home and away jerseys that will be worn during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar by the national selections sponsored by the German brand. Ten jerseys for five teams - Argentina, Germany, Japan, Spain and Mexico - to face the most anticipated event in international football at its best.

On the adidas World Cup 2022 template, the various national teams customized their respective jerseys with distinctive colors and details playing with tradition and innovation. Japan opted for a first jersey in blue, with a geometric pattern inspired by origami and the federation's logo, while for the second the same design, this time in red and light blue, colors the sleeves while the rest of the jersey is in white. Argentina chose a classic cut for the first jersey, with the albiceleste stripes that have always defined the South American national team, adopting a bolder cut for the away one, with a design of blue and purple flames rising from the bottom of the jersey in dark blue.

Spain also veered toward tradition, with a first jersey in perfect keeping with the style of the Red Furies, with borders in yellow and dark blue, while for the second jersey a less-seen color was chosen, a light blue that forms an abstract pattern of regular waves running horizontally across it. For the German national team, adidas also made two extremely different jerseys, with the first one very clean in white and crossed by a thick band in black in the center of the jersey, within which both the federation and technical sponsor logos are placed. For the second, however, it is in dark red and black, with a glitched graphic overall and the three stripes running down the sleeves in gold. Lastly, Mexico proposed two very attractive patterns, the first in green inspired by Quetzalcoatl, the Plumed Serpent among the most iconic deities of Central American culture, and the second again related to Aztec iconography in red and creamy white.
