Marseille's new PUMA uniforms to celebrate 'OM Africa' An unbreakable bond, celebrated again this year with a colourful collection

Like last year, Marseille presented three new lifestyle uniforms, designed as always by PUMA, as part of the 'OM Africa' week organised by the French club. This was a seven-day event in which the French club used the colours of the African continent on the graphics and organised events to celebrate the club's and the city's strong ties with African countries. PUMA - who are also sponsors of some of Africa's top national teams - designed this new set of uniforms which, however, will not be worn on the pitch, but only off it.

With these uniforms, Marseille wants to celebrate the bond between the city and Africa, not only outside but also on the pitch. This is because the club has had a strong presence of African players in its history (above all Didier Drogba and Zinedine Zidane), and Marseille, a port city, has had more than other places a very direct contact with African territories. The three shirts, like the previous ones, are as always inspired by Afro-futurist art, and the differences between the models are the patterns and colours, representing the three African nations, Senegal, Cameroon and Mali
