The new Predators for Paul Pogba designed by Stella McCartney are on their way

Yet another collaboration between adidas and the British designer, who together have created a totally sustainable model

The new Predators for Paul Pogba designed by Stella McCartney are on their way Yet another collaboration between adidas and the British designer, who together have created a totally sustainable model

After releasing the new Freak+EQT a few weeks ago, adidas now seems close to releasing the new Predator Freak that will be worn by Paul Pogba. But as reported by Footyheadlines, the news is that the shoes will be designed by Stella McCartney who once again returns to collaborate with the German brand.  The shoes will be predominantly white with purple and green graphics applied to the upper, while the sole will have iridescent details.

This is not the first time that Adidas has collaborated with a designer to create a new model for Paul Pogba. Last year it seemed that a release with Pharrell Williams was imminent, but it was cancelled due to the pandemic. This will be Stella McCartney's first time in the world of football, even though she has been working with adidas since 2004. This operation confirms how the relationship between football and fashion is becoming increasingly consolidated, as shown by the jerseys designed exactly one year ago by Pharrell Williams for Manchester United, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Bayern Munich. This time the English designer has limited himself to modifying only the colouring of the Predator, leaving the design intact, without laces and dominated by DEMOSKIN technology, born with its small pins to create a completely new interface between shoe and ball.

The new shoes will also be released to celebrate the bond between the brand and the Frenchman that has been going on for five years now. Compared to the previous ones, the new predator will focus on sustainability, from the teaser and the first info released by adidas the shoe was presented as 100% vegan. A choice consistent with the designer who once again confirms herself as one of the greenest designers in the fashion universe.
