The AS Roma 2021-22 away kit by New Balance

New Balance and AS Roma have launched the away kit for the season that will officially begin tomorrow with the first match of the new Conference League against Trabzonspor. The design, as for the home kit, is very simple and clean, with the usual yellow and red shades on the sleeves and back collar contrasting the white that dominates the whole kit - even socks and shorts will be white. Taking inspiration from the colors of the Curva Sud and from the one used between 1979 and 1980, the American brand continues in the wake of simple kits that are enriched with small details. The transition - also aesthetic - from Nike to New Balance needs time to be absorbed by the fans, but NB's work is already at an excellent level (waiting for the third jersey).

Fans who in the meantime have already started to turn up their noses for one of the symbols that will no longer be present on the second jersey. Unlike last season's away kit, New Balance has chosen to focus on the traditional - and updated - Roma logo, leaving Lupetto of Gratton at home, much more than a simple emblem and a true sacred symbol for the Giallorossi fans. The new technical sponsor of AS Roma, however, could have a special third shirt in store on which the Lupetto could appear.
