Starts from 2010 the path of Atletico Madrid for the 2019/2020 season, is precisely in that year, in which the success in the Europa League came thanks to a brace of Forlán in the final against Fulham. In the summer the club will lose two of its biggest flags, Godín and Griezmann, and for this reason, it needs a boost of enthusiasm, a return to that moment when the great season of the Colchoneros began, crowned with one Liga and two Champions League finals.
The look of 2019 eliminates the collar of 2010 focusing on the maximum essentiality, no pattern or geometric element, the foundation date of the club (1903) and the trident of the god Neptune are printed in the collar. The latter is a tribute to the Fuente de Neptuno in the Plaza de Cánovas in Madrid, the place where the Rojiblancos celebrate their titles.
The kit is completed by red socks with a thin blue line, the color used for the shorts and to define some details of the shirt, such as the Nike swoosh and a small strip in which the Spanish flag is placed. The back of the shirt will instead be completely red, with the numbers that stand out in white.
