Peñarol, one of the historic teams of Uruguay, unveiled a special jersey to be worn on September 30 against the Rampla Juniors on the occasion of the one hundred and twenty-seventh anniversary of the club's foundation. The shirt, produced by PUMA, respects the social colors of the club of Montevideo, mostly enhancing the dark grey that stands on the whole jersey and yellow, which we find on collar and sleeves. The special detail of this uniform, however, is another: on the grey of the shirt are in fact impressed the photos of the most victorious teams in the history of Uruguayan club. At a first sight the shirts is breathtaking and the final result is fabulous. The name of the jersey is "Champion of the Century" and the teams printed on the same are, among others, the winner of the first national title, the first able to finish unbeaten a championship and the first able to win the Copa Libertadores.

But there's also another curiosity: Twitter and Peñarol have agreed a deal on the release of this special shirt. The popular social network, in fact, from September 27th to October 11th will attach an emoji with the club's logo whenever you post something using the hashtag #Peñarol, #CampeóndelSiglo, #127añosdeGloria and #Carbonero. On the other side, the team will hold the Twitter logo on the right sleeve of the shirt and, at the bottom of the back of the jersey itself, will insert the Twitter profiles of the players. Fabián Bicco, the man who thought about the creation of the shirt, expressed himself in this regard: "When we create a jersey we always try to take something from our history or our roots, so we designed this shirt with all the most winning teams, they are the true pillars of Peñarol".

The jersey is already on sale today, September 20th, in the official shop of the club and on the online portal of PUMA dedicated to Peñarol.
