120 hours without football

120 hours without football This summer, there will only be five days between the World Cup final and the International Champions Cup

Sure, summer has yet to arrive and there are many things between us and the great football famine of the hottest months of the year. Nevertheless, it’s always a good idea to be prepared, and that’s why we’re here talking about the International Champions Cup (ICC), the tournament that closes us to the Champions League big matches and to the most entertaining clashes of the leagues.

And even if this year we’ll get some help from the 2018 World Cup, that will keep us busy from June 14 to July 15, it’s good to be updated on every day when a football game will be played. Because let’s say it, they’re never enough. This year, though, all the Beautiful Game enthusiasts can be calm, because between the World Cup Final and the first game of the International Champions Cup - and all other clubs’ friendly matches - there will only be five days.

American broadcaster ESPN, that will cover all the games of the tournament, has released the official schedule for the 2018 edition, that will host many great clubs like Manchester United, Real Madrid, Liverpool, Bayern, other than the Italian Juventus, Roma, Inter Milan, and AC Milan. The first game will be on June 20, a few days later the World Cup Final, while the last one will be on August 12, a few days before the kickoff of the new season. So, dear girlfriends, you may resign, because this is gonna be football summer.
