The first shirt ever with a topographic map on it

Switzerland World Cup kit The first shirt ever with a topographic map on it

This weekend the Swiss national team earned the qualification for Russia 2018, beating Northern Ireland in the playoff qualification. In the second leg on Saturday night in Basel, the team lead by Vladimir Petkovic conquered the qualification and playing the match with the new kit for the World Cup designed by Puma.

Modeled by Switzerland players Fabian Frei, Fabian Schär and Marvin Hitz for its launch the new “Schweizer-Nati” home jersey uses the customary red base with white accents of Swiss national team primary kits. A topographic map of the Matterhorn mountain appears on the front of the shirt. The Swiss cross, SFV crest and the PUMA Cat logo appear on the chest in white to contrast with the rest of the kit. Another Swiss cross can be found on the inside of the collar. The right part of the cross includes word “Switzerland” in all four of the country’s national languages.

White shorts and red socks complete the new Switzerland 2018 home kit.
