It represents the future of sneakers as it will be printed on demand and custom fit for the consumer. 3D printed footwear allows for deeper exploration into form, function and fit. With 3D printed footwear with zellerfeld, footwear will be fully recyclable and has the potentially to be locally produced all around the world, reducing CO2 omissions. Using Zellerfeld’s 3D printed technology this will vastly reduce the cost of production for independent designers to produce their own brands and footwear, meaning that consumers will have a larger choice in product as designers will move away from the big brands and set up their own brands."
