Netflix will make a doc about the history of Nike

Netflix will make a biopic about the founder of Nike, based on Shoe Dog, the autobiography of Phil Knight released in 2016.

Like the book, which is still on the best sellers list of the New York Times, the film will retrace the story of how the entrepreneur gave life to the biggest colossus in history starting, in 1963, with fifty dollars borrowed from his father, from a simple importer of shoes from Japan (high-quality shoes for running at a reasonable price).

The project is announced as a real must-watch with Frank Marshall (Indiana Jones and Back to the Future) directed by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski on the screenplay.
