Fragments of dialogue and glimpses of the FBI's elite unit, interspersed with splashes of blood emerging from a white background to become a screaming face.
This is the teaser of Mindhunter, the return of David Fincher after the success of House of Cards with a television series on Netflix. The new show will be based on the book Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit written by ex-special agent John Douglas - the same who inspired the character of Jack Crawford in The Silence of the Lambs - and Mark Olshaker. The story, set in 1979, will revolve around two FBI's Behavioral Science Unit, Bill Tench and fellow Holden Ford, who interview imprisoned serial killers with the hope of closing unsolved cases. Stars of first season 10 episodes, scripted by Joe Penhall and Scott Buck, will be Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallanay, Anna Torv and Hannah Gross.

Mindhunter, produced among others by Fincher himself and Charlize Theron, will drop on Netflix in October 2017.
